Finally rain

Finally we gat some of the rain we need so desperately. Last night's thunderstorm was so violent and close that I can't rememenber having one like this in a very, very long time.

The heat slowes showings down

over the last little while, with all the heat showings have slowed down a bit. Open house visitors have been less as well. We expect, once the heat wave slowes down a little it will come up again.

Isn't it weird?

I don't know, if it is me or just around my home, but this year something seems to be off.

during the last few days, walking my property I noticed, that suddenly all my young unripe fruits on my fruit trees and shrubs were gone. Now this morning I noticed that the birds, squirrels, chipmonks or other animals started picking all the rosehips. I never noticed this before. Did anyone of you notice this as well? What are your thoughts on this? Let me know.

Now with the Summer holidays and the hot weather the real estate market has slowed down a little. Listings are up compared to last year. Don't be discouraged if you are interested in listing your property, it still is a good time, since there are still enough buyers out there who would like to buy a home before school starts again. Actually it probably is easier and faster to sell right now than after the summer holidays.

Waterloo, ON. Sound FM 100.3 announces its addition of a new talk show, ‘Your Best You Show with Paulet Biedermann’. The show features topics that are pertinent to young families in the Tri-Cities. Issues regarding: parenting problems, relationships issues, post secondary education, women in politics, health and overall topics that are conducive to the well-being of our community. A wide range of experts will be available to offer expert advice on the show. The show will include calls from listeners across the region of Waterloo.

‘Your Best you Show with Paulet Biedermann will be launched on Saturday, June 30^th at 8:00AM and air every Friday 2:00PM -4:00PM and Saturdays 8:00AM-10:00AM on Sound FM 100.3 CKMS, Waterloo. Each week, host Paulet Biedermann will be joined by an expert on the topic for that show. Listeners will be able to call in and ignite the passionate and entertaining discussion. Most of the topics will be taken directly from Biedermann’s book, “Your Best You”: self esteem issues, parenting problems,Bullying, fear of success, setting the stage for your child to succeed among others.

The host Paulet Biedermann will be joined by leading local experts doctors, authors, psychologists and lawyers to discuss a variety of issues from bullying in schools and work place to the benefits of eating at the dinner table as a family versus in front of the TV. Expert guests will range from Business and Professional Women’s Club of Cambridge’s President Lin Buxton, Dr. M. Grant, Psychotherapist, Lawyer Helen Gladkykh, Dr. Amokoa Adu of Wilfred Laurier University Business School to former MPP Elizabeth Whitmer who submitted the anti-bullying Bill C-13 which was passed earlier this month.
